About Causeway Bay

The Lee Garden area offers a different experience from the main Causeway Bay drag. Named after the Lee Garden shopping complex, this pocket of the neighbourhood is quieter, more residential, and has a distinctly boutique feel. The streets are narrower, the pace is a touch slower, and the dining options lean more towards quality sit-down meals than fast-food chains.

Our Lee Garden property is a walk-up building with character — you'll find the Commune logo on the door as you climb the stairs to the 3rd floor. It's intimate, homey, and reflects the neighbourhood's low-key charm. Causeway Bay MTR is just one minute away, and you're close to both the shopping action and the green escape of Victoria Park.

This area borders Happy Valley, one of Hong Kong's most prestigious residential neighbourhoods. The Happy Valley Racecourse hosts Wednesday night races that are a quintessential Hong Kong social experience — and they're walkable from your front door. The surrounding streets have excellent restaurants and a more relaxed vibe than the main Causeway Bay strip.

For those who want the convenience of Causeway Bay without the intensity, Lee Garden is the sweet spot. You're close enough to walk to Times Square and Sogo in minutes, but far enough that your immediate surroundings feel calm and residential.

The area is also popular with young professionals working in Wan Chai and Admiralty, as both are just one or two MTR stops away. It strikes a rare balance in Hong Kong: central, convenient, and relatively peaceful.
